In your system’s help menu you can find all the latest DataTill user guides and setup guides.

The help menu is labeled as: (?)

You can also submit support or feature requests from your help menu to the DataTill team.

The new support and feature request menu items are available on your system from v1.21.11

How to submit a support request

To submit a support request to the DataTill team, click on your system’s help menu and then click on “Submit Support Request”

You will be automatically redirected to the “Submit a DataTill Support Request” screen:

Some information will be auto-populated from your own system.

On this screen you can add all the information from the support issue.

When you click on “Submit Issue”, a helpdesk ticket will be submitted to the DataTill team.

 

How to submit a feature request

To submit a feature request to the DataTill team, click on the help menu and then click on “Submit Feature Request”

You will be automatically redirected to the “Submit a DataTill Feature Request” screen:

Some information will be auto-populated from your own system.

On this screen you can add all the information we need for the feature request.

Feature details we need is:

  • Feature Title
  • Module in system
  • What is the problem you want to solve?
  • What is the impact of this on your business?
  • What is your suggested solution (feature)?

When you click on “Submit Feature”, a feature request will be submitted to the DataTill team.

 

Note on feature request development:

Feature request development is development on new features that does not exist in DataTill. Or it can be improvements on what is already available in DataTill. Development of feature requests is subject to approval from DataTill (Pty) Ltd. DataTill (Pty) Ltd only develops features that fall in line with its main product strategy and DataTill (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to refuse feature developments that it does not consider a priority or an appropriate feature. No specific time of completion can be guaranteed prior to a commitment being agreed to commercially.
