DataTill System Requirements

Installation

• DataTill will perform the software installation and initial configuration. In order to proceed, have the following ready:
  • Vanilla install of Ubuntu 22.04.4 Server
  • Username and password with root access
  • Port 22 open for SSH
  • Static IP
  • DNS record, e.g. portal.yourservername.com
  • Prepayment for installation. The installation fee is on our pricing page.
  • Contact Support at support@datatill.com for server requirements and installation process.

Hardware (minimum specification)

• 24 GB RAM
• 2 x 250 GB SSDs
• 4 Core CPU of either Ivy Bridge or Haswell Architecture Core i5. If using a VM, you may need up to 16 Core CPU depending on number of customers.
• Base clock speed of higher than 2.8GHz

Software

• Ubuntu 22.04 Server: https://releases.ubuntu.com/jammy/
• No extra modules installed besides OpenSSH

Mail Server

• UTF- 8 encoding
• Post: Added Outbound SMTP Settings To Settings Menu

Backups

• Customer is responsible for their own backups.
