Asset Register Setup

Asset register setup is process of developing and maintaining a record or database containing accurate data about the assets owned and used by an organization or individual. For example, like equipment, automobiles, machinery, real estate, furniture, electronics, and other goods can all be considered assets in this context.

How to configure the DataTill asset register module:

Setup:

Locations, Suppliers, Manufactures, Asset Groups and Asset Types need to be configured before assets can be added.

Locations:

This is a list of all the locations for: stock, customers, installations, high sites, and any other locations you would like to add.

To add the location, click on the blue button +add location, and then fill in the details of that below.

Add Location:

This is where you can add new locations. Note that Google Maps can be used to pin-point the exact location with coordinates.

Suppliers:

This is an example of list of all the suppliers that you would have.

Add Suppliers:

To add suppliers, click on the blue button + add Supplier, and then fill in the details of that supplier below.

Manufacturers:

This is an example of list of all the manufacturers that you would have.

Add Manufactures:

To add manufactures, click on the blue button + add manufacturer, and then fill in the details of that below, like the name of the manufacturer and any notes about that manufacturer.

Asset Groups:

Down below you will see an example of asset groups, and this is where you can fill in the number of asset groups.

Add Asset Groups:

To add a Group, click on the blue button + add group, and then fill in the details of the new asset group below, like the group short code, the group name and any comments that is important about that group.

Asset Types:

To add asset type, click on the blue button +add type, and then fill in the details of that below.

How to Add Asset Types:

Here you must fill in what type of asset it would be, fill in the details of that below like the name and any notes about that asset type.

Asset Register Functions:

Asset Register

This is where you can see a list of all the assets that are controlled, here you will be able to edit or change assets, remove, or add more assets. You can also print it with the Print button.

Add Asset:

Here down below you will be able to fill in the details of assets.

Asset Movement:

After completing the above headings and filling and adding assets you are able to see a summary of all the location changes of the assets.

More details about the asset such as movement history.
