Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Job Summary

DataTill is looking for an Application Support Specialist, who will mainly be required to assist our customers and troubleshoot issues within our bespoke systems.

The primary technologies used in this role is DataTill, our in-house ticket system, JIRA & other Cloud platforms and Linux operating systems.

Main purpose of the role:
The main functions of the role are as follows:

  • Support our customers via phone, skype and email
  • Train customers on new functionality within our application
  • Install our application for new and demo customers
  • Manage the helpdesk tickets to ensure all customer queries are promptly resolved

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position based at our development offices in George.


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar customer support position
  • IT Related skills & experience
  • HTML, PHP & Linux experience would advantageous

Approximate Cost-to-Company: R7k – R9k p/m depending on experience
